The Official Guide to Cycling the Hebridean Way
The Hebridean Way, is a 185 mile journey along the length of the Outer Hebrides. It crosses 10 islands, passing some of Britain’s most dramatic beaches and stunning ancient sites. The human and natural history are fascinating. The culture of the islands is very special. If you haven’t visited…you should. And a bicycle is the perfect way to travel around them!
The Official Guide to Cycling the Hebridean Way was first published in March 2023. It followed the original Offcomers guide to Cycling the Hebridean Way which came out in December 2016. This new official guide is written with the support and in partnership with Hebrides Tourism.
The guidebook contains all the information you need to plan your trip:
- Route descriptions
- 1:50,000 OS maps
- Full listings for accommodation and refreshment providers
- Information about history, natural history and points of interest
- Suggested detours and walks
- Getting to and from the route, bike businesses etc
