The Hebridean Way walking route is a 156-mile journey from Vatersay to Stornoway along the Outer Hebridean chain. It takes in 10 islands, 6 causeways, 2 ferries, loads of beaches and wild moorland. There’s loads of wildlife, fascinating archaeology, history and culture.

Cycling the Hebridean Way- Book and information

The Hebridean Way, National Cycle Route 780, is a 185 mile journey along the length of the Outer Hebrides. It crosses 10 islands, passing some of Britain’s most dramatic beaches and stunning ancient sites.

The Caledonia Way- Book and information

The Caledonia Way, National Cycle Network route 78, runs from Campbeltown in Kintyre, to Inverness. It’s a 235 mile (380km) journey through the stunning landscapes of Scotland north of the Highland line.

The Bay Cycle Way- Book and information

The Bay Cycle Way, National Cycle Route 700, is an 80 mile route from Walney Island to Glasson Dock. It runs around Morecambe Bay, through fascinating scenery, wildlife and history. It’s mainly on quiet roads, but with some tracks and paths, and much of it is pretty flat (though there is one big hill).

The V4- Book and information

The V4 runs along the north coast of Brittany between Roscoff and Mont St Michel. It’s a 250 mile signed cycle route, mainly on quiet roads but also using greenway such as old railway lines. The journey passes through interesting towns, by fantastic beaches and unforgettable coastal scenery.
